Finally, after a while, I decided to step inside club maisha. And yes, at first I was a bit hesitant, and was like this place hasn't changed, same shit different toilets... etc type of attitude. Come tonight (Friday, 8th April 2011) I was awed at what was in front of my eyes.
First the foreign performances... which I might say were more organised and coordinated properly than the performances of our our own fellow "Das-lamers"
But this one group caught my eye. I mean, really took both my eyes and and got me glued to it. The group was called black coffee or something, all I remember it had the word coffee in its name. It was comprised of 3 females, out of which 1 was the singer and two male dancers.
It was the singer that attracted my eyes the most... As for now, I'm sure you all heard of that khanga moja thing, right. well that's played out compared to this. This young lady, was wearing plainly a g-string, a bra and some sort of a (what do u call) a NET. That's it!! Her skin was bare, and trust me when I say this "khanga moja has met its match. This woman is the next best thing...
There are so many advantages to Maisha compared to khanga moja... things like
1: Maisha is spacious
2: Parking is easy
3: She is not wearing any khanga
4: she has more moves, and i hope a different costume ( will be happy to report about this next week)
5: Its not far from where I live (okay okay, this last one is to my own advantage)
...to name a few
