The Slipway

Who dares come to Dar without visiting "The Slipway"

This was the gateway of hangout places in Dar.

I remember back in the days, every Sunday (i think) was the day for slipway. People from all over town, all cramped in this so called chilling spot. i remember there were only 2 bars, and yet they would cater to more than 1000 people.

Not to forget, the stereo types, omg... Categories included the USA ppl, the UK crews, the Mbezi beach boys, the masaki geti kali's, mikocheni execs, down town ballers trust me, the list is endless...

All in all, it was good fun. But now, it has changed, slipway has become more of a place people go get a beer, or coffee, a meeting area for small talks. the beach view is fantastic....

Not to forget, a large bazaar for all kind of souvenir items and presents. This place is just how i wanted it be in quite a long time. Two thumbs up for this place.
